Count the people in your corner, not the people in the stands.
GRATITUDE
GRATITUDE
Crowds measure attention and nothing else. They gather for the good stretch and thin out for the bad one, without anybody doing anything wrong. A corner is small by design, and those are the people who turn up when nothing is happening and there is nothing to watch.
Make an actual list of who has been there during a dull or difficult week. Look at how short it is without reading that as a failure. Then give those few the attention you have been spending on the stands.
