After a setback, rewrite what success means. The old definition might have been the problem.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

A setback sometimes exposes the definition more than the effort. When success is set at something narrow, every outcome but one counts as failure, which is a brittle arrangement that guarantees regular collapse. Reconsidering the target after a hard landing is not lowering the bar, it is checking whether the bar was ever yours.

Write what success in this area means to you now, in one sentence with nobody else in it. Notice whether the old version came out of a comparison. Then measure the next attempt against the newer definition.
