If a room only fits you when you shrink, the room is the problem, not your size.

LEADERSHIP

WHAT THIS MEANS

Some spaces ask you to be smaller as the price of entry, and it is easy to read that requirement as a fact about you rather than about the space. Fitting by contraction works for a while and then costs more than the room is worth, because the shape has to be held constantly. Not every room is wrong for you. A few simply have no space in them for anybody at full size.

Notice where you go quieter, vaguer and more careful than usual, and ask whether that is respect or compression. Leaving is allowed.
