The hobby that makes zero money might be the most honest thing about you.

Anything you keep doing without payment or an audience reveals a preference with no incentive attached to it. Work gets shaped by what people will pay for and posting gets shaped by what earns a response, while the thing you do alone on a Sunday is shaped only by you. That makes it unusually good evidence about what you actually like. Its uselessness is what makes it trustworthy.

Protect an hour of it this week instead of leaving it to whatever time is left. Resist making it productive. It is already doing its job.
