Moss only grows on stones that don’t roll, which isn’t always a bad thing. Some things need you to stay put.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Constant movement keeps you from accumulating the things that only arrive with time. Depth in a subject, a friendship that has seen several versions of you, a reputation in one place, none of it can be hurried and all of it resets when you start over. Staying is not the absence of ambition.
Ask what in your life is currently too young to be judged. Give one thing another full year before deciding it is not working. The restlessness will tell you it is wasted time, and sometimes it is simply time.
Where would staying put serve you better than moving on?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
