The question you keep changing the subject on is usually the one that matters.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Avoidance is a kind of pointing. The subject you steer away from every time is not boring to you, it is expensive, and the swerve happens before you have consciously decided anything. Whatever you cannot sit inside for thirty seconds is generally where the live wire is.
Notice the next time a conversation gets redirected, and check who did it. If it was you, write the question down in plain words and leave it where you will see it. You do not have to answer it this week, only stop pretending it was not asked.
Which question do you dodge whenever someone brings it up?
