The clock doesn’t pause while you decide whether to start.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Deliberation is not a neutral state where nothing is being spent. The weeks spent deciding come out of the same account as the weeks you would have spent doing, and you end with the decision and none of the progress. Waiting is a choice that charges the same rate as action.
Set a date by which you will have chosen, and treat that date as the real deadline. If the information you are waiting for will not arrive, decide with what you have. Starting badly on Monday beats starting perfectly in a year, most of the time.
How long have you been deciding whether to start?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
