When you rush, you don’t save time. You just move the time to fixing it later.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Speed at the wrong stage is a loan. The twenty minutes you skip at the start come back as two hours of correction, usually at a worse moment, while other people are waiting. It feels like efficiency because the saving is immediate and visible while the cost arrives later wearing a different name.
Before you hurry through something this week, ask where the error would show up if you got it wrong. If the answer is a place that would be expensive or embarrassing to fix, slow down for that specific part. Not the whole task. Just the part where mistakes compound.
What did you rush last month and then redo?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
