Somebody was patient with you when you were annoying. Pay that forward.

You were, at some point, hard work for someone, and you almost certainly do not remember the times they chose not to react. That patience is invisible from the inside, which is why most people believe they turned out fine largely on their own. Someone absorbed a great deal on your behalf and never mentioned it.

There is someone in your life currently being that for another person, and they do not know it either. The younger sibling, the new person at work, the friend going through a repetitive phase. Give them one more round than you feel like giving.
