Stop digging up the seeds to see if they’re growing. That’s how they stop growing.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Checking is not neutral when the thing being checked needs to be undisturbed. Anxiety disguises itself as diligence, and the inspection damages what you were worried about. Roots need continuous contact with the dark to do anything, and every look costs more than it returns.
Find where you are inspecting too often. The message you sent, the application, the new habit, the person you are worried about. Set an interval that feels slightly too long and keep to it. Between checks, put your attention on something that benefits from it. Leaving a thing alone is an action.
How often do you demand proof that something is working?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
