You can leave without a farewell tour. A simple “take care” closes the door just fine.

Endings do not require a full accounting in order to be legitimate. The urge to explain everything usually comes from wanting agreement about why you are going, and that agreement is rarely on offer, so the long version turns into a negotiation you never wanted. A short, warm ending is still a complete one.

If you are leaving something, keep what you say brief and kind and do not build a case. Wish them well and mean it. Nobody has to accept your reasons for the ending to be real.
