You can skip the five-word bio and the aesthetic. Being a person doesn’t require a tagline first.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
There is pressure to arrive already summarized, with a style and a stated set of interests, before you have had time to find out what you actually like. A summary written early mostly locks you into whatever you happened to enjoy at fifteen. People become recognizable through what they do, not through a description written in advance.
Let one interest stay unlabeled this week. Do not announce it, do not build a look around it, just see whether you still want it in a month. What survives without an audience is usually the real thing.
What label have you been trying to fit yourself into?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
