Blocking someone isn’t immature when talking has already failed three times. It’s a fire door.

LEADERSHIP

WHAT THIS MEANS

Removing contact is a last option, and last options exist because some situations do not respond to conversation. After several honest attempts, continuing to engage is not maturity, it is repeating something already tested. A door that shuts is there to stop something spreading.

Before using it, be honest about whether you said the thing clearly and gave it a real chance to land. If you did, more than once, you can close the contact without owing an explanation. Tell one person you trust, so the decision is not carried alone.
