REFLECTION
REFLECTION
What you are feeling is information about you, and handing it to whoever asks makes your state public material. A few people will use it, most will simply hold it carelessly, and either way you lose the ability to work something out privately. Access to your interior is worth deciding rather than defaulting.
Pick two or three people who have earned the full version and give everybody else the ordinary answer. That is not dishonesty, it is proportion. Notice how much lighter a day is when your mood is not being discussed by people who barely know you.
Who can change your mood with a single sentence?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
