A twelve-question quiz can’t tell you who you are. It can only tell you which box it wants to put you in.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Short quizzes work by sorting, and sorting requires that the categories exist before you arrive. Whatever you answer, the result has to be one of the boxes already built, which means the outcome describes the system’s options rather than your character. It can feel accurate because the descriptions are written to fit almost anyone.

Enjoy them if you enjoy them, and hold the label lightly. When one names something that felt true, treat that recognition as the useful part and the category as packaging. You are allowed to keep the sentence that landed and throw away the type it came with.
