Privacy isn’t hiding. It’s deciding who gets a key.

REFLECTION
Keeping something to yourself is not the same as concealing it. Privacy is about control of the door rather than the contents, and everyone gets to decide who is handed a key and when. A person with no closed doors is not more honest, only more exposed.
Think about what you share by default and whether you ever chose that. Some things are worth telling one person and not five. Deciding deliberately, rather than by whoever happened to ask most recently, is the whole of the practice.
Who has a key to you that was never given?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
