Age does not automatically make someone wise, but it gives them enough evidence to become wise if they look.

Years supply raw material and nothing else. Two people can live the same length of time and end up with completely different amounts of understanding, because one examined what happened and the other simply passed through it. Evidence is only useful to someone who looks at it, and looking is optional, which is why age and wisdom correlate so loosely.
Set aside some time to actually review your own record. What has repeatedly gone well, what has repeatedly gone badly, and what you seem to keep learning and forgetting. An hour with that question does more than a year of accumulating further experience unexamined.
What would your own past teach you if you reviewed it honestly?
