Letting someone be right about something small is cheap and buys a lot of goodwill.

REFLECTION
Being right about something minor is worth less than it feels in the moment. Letting a small point go costs you nothing you can measure and leaves the other person willing to give ground somewhere that matters. Most people soften toward anyone who does not need to win everything.
Watch for the next argument where you are right and it does not matter. Let them have it plainly, without the sigh that turns it into a favor. Save the correcting for the things that would actually change an outcome.
Which small point could you concede today without losing anything?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
