Somebody mentored you. Mentor somebody else. That loop is how good stuff survives.

Whatever you know that is worth knowing, somebody handed to you, usually without making a ceremony of it. Skills, standards and small tricks of a trade move sideways between people rather than being invented fresh each generation. The loop only keeps running if people who received something pass it on while they are still in the middle of their own learning.

You do not need to be an expert for this. Find one person a step behind you and give them the thing you wish someone had told you earlier. Half an hour of honest explanation beats an offer to help sometime.
