Your legacy begins long before anyone starts using the word legacy.

Legacy is not something arranged near the end. It is being assembled continuously out of how you handle ordinary situations, what you teach without meaning to, and how people feel after being around you. By the time anyone starts using the word, most of it is already written. That is either encouraging or uncomfortable depending on the week.

Instead of thinking about what you will leave behind, look at what you are creating in people right now. Ask what someone close to you is learning from watching you. Then adjust one thing, since it is entirely editable while you are still here.
