Weekends are almost a third of your life. Stop treating them like leftovers.

Two days out of seven is a large share of the years you get, and those days usually run on whatever is left after the week has taken its cut. They become recovery, admin and scrolling, and then they are gone without having been anything in particular. Not because you chose that, but because nobody was steering.
Decide one thing in advance for the coming weekend, something you would be pleased to have done. Leave the rest loose. One chosen anchor is enough to stop the whole stretch dissolving, and rest picked on purpose restores more than rest that merely happens.
What did you actually do with last weekend?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
