An idea with no date attached is just a nice thought you get to carry around forever without lifting it.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
An intention without a time on it never has to be tested, which is precisely why it feels so pleasant. You get the identity of someone who is going to do the thing, at no cost, indefinitely. A date converts a thought into something that can either happen or visibly fail, and that risk is usually what you are avoiding.
Take one idea you have carried for months and put a real day on it. Make it small enough that the date is believable. If you cannot bring yourself to pick one, that is worth knowing too, and you may be free to put the idea down.
Which idea have you carried for years without starting it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
