Go back to your elementary school as an adult and everything looks tiny. The stuff that feels huge now will shrink too.

Scale is relative to the size of the person doing the measuring. Corridors that once seemed endless are just corridors once you have grown, and the same adjustment happens with problems as your capacity widens. What overwhelms you now is partly the size of the thing and partly the size of you today.

When something feels unmanageable, remember that you are also still growing into it. Handle the next piece rather than the whole, and let the comparison come later. In a few years this will be a thing you did, described in a sentence or two.
