Being someone’s entire support system isn’t romantic. It’s a job with no days off and no training.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
One person cannot be a whole network, however much they love you. When all of someone’s needs route through a single relationship, the weight stops being intimacy and becomes duty, and the person carrying it has no way to be tired without failing. Love does not make anyone qualified for every role at once.
If you are carrying it, say plainly what you can and cannot do, and help them find other places for the rest. If you are leaning, widen the base a little: one more person, one group, one professional. Both of you will find the relationship easier to be inside.
Who leans on you for everything with nobody else?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
