Your blind spot isn’t blind to everyone. Somebody close to you can see it just fine.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Blind spots are only blind from where you are sitting. What you cannot see about yourself is often obvious to a sibling, a close friend, or a teammate who has watched you in the same situation twenty times. They usually say nothing, because raising it is awkward and rarely welcomed. Which means the information exists and simply has to be requested.

Ask someone who knows you well what you keep doing that you seem unaware of. Promise yourself in advance that you will not argue with the answer. One honest reply can save you a year of repeating something.
