Everyone telling you it’s great might just mean nobody wants to be the one to say it isn’t.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Unanimous praise is often silence in disguise. Nobody wants to be the person who introduces a problem, particularly once the mood has settled into approval, so the doubts stay in individual heads and the group hears an agreement it does not really have. That leaves you the least informed person in the conversation. Enthusiasm is pleasant and it is not a review.
Ask specifically what the weakest part is, and ask one person privately rather than the whole group. Make it clear you will not be wounded by the answer. Then wait through the pause, because the useful reply usually comes after it.
Who around you would risk telling you it is bad?
