Getting corrected means someone cared enough to fix your aim. Say thanks.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Correction takes effort that indifference never spends. Saying nothing is easier, safer and far more common, so when someone tells you that you are getting something wrong, they have accepted the risk of your reaction in exchange for your improvement. That is a small act of investment. The instinct to bristle is normal, and it punishes exactly the behavior you need more of.

Say thank you before anything else, even while you disagree. Ask one clarifying question instead of mounting a defense. Come back later and tell them what you did with it.
