Say your priorities out loud, then open your calendar. Whichever one disagrees is lying.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
A calendar is a more reliable statement of priorities than a sentence. Hours are limited and get allocated whether you plan them or not, so whatever receives them is what you are prioritizing, regardless of what you would say if asked. The mismatch is ordinary and worth looking at. It is also the part you can adjust directly.
Name your top three out loud, then look at last week and find where the time really went. Move one block to match the list, or be honest and change the list. Repeat that monthly and the two slowly converge.
Does your calendar match what you claim matters most?
