Pride keeps the door locked and then complains nobody taught it anything.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
The posture that keeps you from looking foolish is the same one that keeps information out. Nobody can teach you anything while you are busy appearing to know it already, and the cost turns up much later as a strange, stubborn gap in something basic. What looked like protection was mostly delay.
Ask the question you have been avoiding, the one you feel you should know by now. Ask one person you trust rather than a room. Almost nobody thinks less of you for it, and the few who do were never going to teach you anything useful.
What would you have to admit to start learning again?
