Running on empty for weeks isn’t dedication. It’s a fuel problem with a nicer name.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Exhaustion dressed up as commitment is still exhaustion. Weeks of running short on sleep and food do not make you more serious about the work, they make you worse at it, and the decline is gradual enough that you mistake it for the work getting harder. Calling it dedication is the part that stops you fixing it.

Look at the actual inputs this week: hours of sleep, meals eaten sitting down, days with nothing scheduled. Fix the cheapest one first, which is usually bedtime. If the schedule genuinely allows none of that, something on it has to go, and that is a conversation with whoever set it.
