An audition you bomb still gets you closer to the one you nail. Directors often remember people who keep showing up.

RESILIENCE
Bombing an audition still moves you forward, because the only way to get used to a room is to be in it repeatedly. The people deciding see a great many nervous first attempts, and what registers across a few seasons is who kept coming back rather than who was polished early. Turning up is something you control, and hardly anybody does it consistently.
Put your name down for the next one before this one has stopped stinging. Write down the one specific thing that went wrong and work on only that. Be the person they have now seen four times, because very few people get that far.
Which failed attempt put you nearer to a good one?
