Tools change and the underlying abilities do not. Being able to talk to a stranger, work out why something broke, and do what you said you would do are useful in any decade, and they move between jobs that have nothing else in common. Most of what feels urgent to learn is one version of a tool that will be replaced. The durable things are unglamorous and nobody hands out a certificate for them.
Pick one and get a real repetition in this week. Phone somebody instead of texting, or fix the thing yourself before replacing it. Keep a small promise you would normally let slide.
Which of your skills would still be useful without any power?
