The first time you say your goal out loud, it sounds ridiculous. Say it to someone who’ll check in on you.

Saying it out loud the first time always sounds absurd, because the gap between where you stand and the sentence is at its widest on day one. The awkwardness is not a verdict on the goal. It fades with repetition, and in the meantime it is doing you a favour by making the thing real and inconveniently specific. A goal nobody has heard stays comfortably vague.
Who you tell matters more than how you phrase it. Pick somebody who will ask you about it again in a month rather than somebody who will simply be nice, and tell them the next step as well as the destination.
Who would check on your goal if you said it out loud?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
