Winning feels like it will fix how you feel about yourself. It usually just fixes it until Monday.

Winning adjusts your mood, not your opinion of yourself. The relief is real and it is also short, because the underlying question returns as soon as the result is a few days old, which is why people with a long record of winning can still be anxious about whether they are any good. The result was never addressing that question. It only quietens it for a while.
Better to notice the pattern than to chase a bigger result to fix it. Ask what you think of yourself on an ordinary Tuesday with nothing pending. That is the answer worth working on, and it does not get built out of scoreboards.
Which win wore off faster than you expected it to?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
