Starting late isn’t the same as being too late. Plenty of people find their thing at 25, 30 or 40.

Late and too late get treated as one word and they are not remotely the same situation. Starting behind other people costs you a head start, not the possibility. Crafts and careers do not have an entry window that quietly closes at twenty; the sense that they do comes from only ever hearing about the prodigies. Most people arrive by an ordinary route at an ordinary time.

If you have been waiting because the moment seems to have passed, begin at whatever scale is available now. One lesson, one class, one attempt. Being a late beginner is awkward for a few weeks and then you are simply somebody doing it.
