Wanting to matter is human. Just remember you already matter to someone before you achieve anything.

LEADERSHIP
The urge to be significant is universal and mostly harmless until it becomes a condition you set on yourself. There are people whose day is different because you exist, and that was true before any result of yours and stays true regardless of them. Achievement can add to significance, but it is not the source of it. Starting from zero worth and trying to earn upward is an exhausting arrangement.
Think of two people who would notice your absence on an ordinary Tuesday. Hold that in mind while you work rather than instead of working. Wanting to achieve sits more comfortably on top of mattering than underneath it.
Who already values you for nothing you have accomplished yet?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
