Ambition can point at a family, a craft or a neighborhood. It doesn’t have to point at a stage.

LEADERSHIP
Ambition gets pictured as a stage, a title, a public arrival, which leaves out most of the shapes it actually takes. Wanting to be excellent at a trade, to raise a family well, or to make one street better are enormous undertakings that happen to go unphotographed. The direction is yours to choose rather than something handed to you by whatever gets celebrated. Scale and ambition are separate things.
Say what yours is honestly aimed at rather than what sounds impressive. If it points at people or a craft, stop measuring it with an audience.
Where would you aim if a stage were never part of it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
