If you only love the stage, the practice room will wear you down. Learn to like the room.

LEADERSHIP
Performance is a tiny fraction of any discipline and practice is nearly all of it. If the only part you enjoy is being watched, the vast majority of your time becomes a toll you pay, and nobody keeps paying a toll for decades. People who last find something to like in the repetition itself: the small improvements, the quiet, the feel of a thing getting easier. That affection can be learned.
Look for one thing about practising you could genuinely enjoy and build the session around it. A warm-up you like, music, a particular drill.
Do you like the practice, or only the part people watch?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
