A legacy can be as simple as a kid who learned to swim because you were patient on the pool deck.

LEADERSHIP
One person’s patience can change what another person is able to do for the rest of their life. Teaching a child to swim takes a few afternoons and gives them something they will never not have, and no record will show who did it. Most of what gets passed between people looks that small at the time. The size of the effort and the size of the effect are rarely matched.
If you get the chance to teach somebody something physical and useful, take it and go slowly. Swimming, riding a bike, using a tool safely. Patience is the whole method.
Who learned something because you were patient with them?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
