LEADERSHIP
One measure of a decent life is how much of your day you get to spend as yourself. Jobs, friendships and rooms that require constant performance take a toll that never shows up as a number, while being able to speak plainly to people is quietly what makes a life comfortable. Spending power is easy to count and a poor indicator. How much pretending is required is a better one.
Go through your week and notice where you are performing hardest. One class, one group, one shift. See whether any of it can be reduced.
Where in your life are you still pretending about something?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
