A competitor who’s better than you is free coaching if you pay attention.

LEADERSHIP
Someone who beats you is showing you their method for nothing. Resentment is the only thing that stops you reading it, because it keeps your attention on how you feel rather than on what they did. Up close you can see their footwork, their preparation, the parts they skip and the parts they refuse to skip.
Next time you lose to somebody, write down three specific things they did better. Not qualities, actions. Then copy one of them at your next practice and see what happens.
What could you learn by studying the person who beat you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
