Never trade your real name for one good insult in a comment section.

A clever line in a comment thread is worth almost nothing and your name is attached to it permanently. Screenshots outlive the argument, the person you were answering forgets by the weekend, and what you wrote stays searchable with your face beside it. It is a bad exchange rate, and it only looks fair in the twenty seconds when you are angry.

Write the reply if you need to, in your notes, and do not post it. Wait an hour and see whether you still want to. If you do post, assume a coach, a manager or a stranger hiring you will read it one day.
