A choice you made at fifteen doesn’t have to be your plan at twenty-five. Updating it is growth.

RESILIENCE
You made some plans with less information than you have now, and they were reasonable with what you had. Keeping them out of loyalty to an earlier version of yourself is not consistency. It is inertia wearing consistency’s clothes, and changing course once you know more is the same skill as choosing well the first time.
Pick one plan you are still carrying and ask whether you chose it or inherited it. If it still fits, say so out loud and stop reopening it. If it does not, tell one person this week that you are thinking differently, which is usually the hard part.
What plan are you keeping because a younger you picked it?
