Hanging out wherever trouble usually happens is choosing trouble with extra steps.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Trouble rarely begins with a decision to get into trouble. It begins with being present where it was already likely, for long enough that something starts, and then being part of it by location rather than by choice. Where you spend your evenings sets the odds, and the odds do most of the work from there.

Think about where the last few bad nights started, and notice whether it is the same place or the same handful of people. Change the pattern rather than making a resolution about your character. Leaving half an hour earlier settles most of it.
