If you have to talk yourself into a choice for an hour, your gut already voted.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Long persuasion is usually a sign of something already settled. A decision that fits does not need an hour of argument to become acceptable, and the effort you are putting in is mostly aimed at overriding a reaction you had in the first few seconds. That reaction is not always right. It is always worth hearing before you talk it down.
When you notice you are building a case, stop and write the plain objection in one line, the part you keep arguing with. Then ask whether anything you have said actually answers it. Sometimes it does and you proceed with more confidence.
What are you still trying to convince yourself to do?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
