The next version of you may require habits your current friends do not recognize.

As you change, your daily life may stop looking like anyone’s around you: different hours, different priorities, different things you say no to. That can create a quiet distance, since shared habits are much of what holds people together. It does not necessarily mean losing anyone. It does mean accepting that the new routine may not be understood by people who were fond of the old one.
Expect not to be understood for a while and try not to require it. Keep the relationships and change the habits, since both are usually possible. And look for at least one person who is doing something similar.
