Your accent isn’t a mistake. It’s a map of where you’ve been.

An accent is a record of where your mouth learned to make sounds. It carries the town you grew up in, the language your family speaks at home, the people who taught you to talk, and none of that is an error to be sanded off. People who make you self-conscious about it are usually telling you more about themselves.
Notice whether you shrink your voice in certain rooms, and whether that is really necessary. Talk at your normal speed and let people adjust to you. When somebody says they like the way you say a word, let it be a compliment.
What about the way you speak have you been taught to hide?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
