In barrel racing, you cut close to the barrel to save time, and you risk knocking it over. Good risk is close, not careless.

RESILIENCE
The time is at the edge, not past it. Cutting close to a barrel is deliberate contact with a known limit, taken by somebody who has learned where that limit sits and what it costs when they misjudge it. Carelessness is a different animal: it is being near the same edge without knowing it is there. From the outside the two can look identical, which is why people confuse one for the other.
For one thing this week, say out loud where your edge is and which specific failure you are accepting. If you cannot name the failure, you are not cutting close, you are guessing.
Where are you cutting it close enough to lose everything?
