Asking for a second chance after you messed up takes courage. So does giving one.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
The person asking risks a no and the fresh reminder of what they did. The person deciding risks being let down a second time and looking naive for having tried, and they usually have to decide with no new information. Both sides are exposed, which is why the second one is just as hard. We only tend to count the first.
Do one of each this week. Go back to the place you have been avoiding since you got it wrong, and let go of one grudge you have been holding at low cost to yourself.
Have you ever needed a second chance you were too proud to request?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
