The courage to rest when everyone else is grinding is real. Burnout isn’t a badge.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Pushing through has a social reward attached and resting does not, so being tired becomes something to hide. That is backwards for anyone actually trying to improve, since the gains happen while you recover rather than while you grind. Taking a day off while everyone around you compares workloads takes a nerve that earns no credit at all. Exhaustion is not proof of effort.

Put one real rest block in your week and defend it the way you would defend practice. Sleep, nothing scheduled, screens off if you can manage it. Judge it by how Wednesday feels.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

When did you last rest without apologizing for it?
